B is B
Beatification Beatification is
Business is Business

Rome, March 2011
this day is noted in a flurry of activity in areas immediately adjacent to monasteries, parishes, religious circles. Are built, I hope everyone following the dictates of technical and municipal laws, a myriad of rooms intended, in all probability, to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims expected in Rome for the ceremony of beatification of John Paul II.
What do you make of all these local religious organizations once the tourist-religious ceremony?
A few questions does not hurt:
- be reported to the Police of details of the guests of religious as well as with hotels, B & Bs and campsites?
- If not, who will guarantee that these facilities are not properly used by organizations in some way in the odor of terrorism?
- Release religious institutions an invoice to the "pilgrims" or similar?
- If yes. This bill contains a tax or not?
- If it is turned to the Italian state VAT?
- If you do not. It 'such a situation contemplated by the Arrangement as revised in the '80s?
- The famous tourist tax will eventually be applied by religious institutions? It will therefore be paid to the beneficiaries? Entitled is certainly not the Vatican.
- Doubt. Accepted associations of hoteliers, particularly those of Rome, the competition of religious institutions without protest?

There is talk however of a turnover of 100 million euros and more concentrated in the space of a couple of days. Maybe everyone will be satisfied. Bars that sell mineral water at 2-3 euros a bottle, hotels, religious institutes. These, among others, are generally well protected against potential (but not too much) measures the 'Ndrangheta.
Want fact that the 'Ndrangheta, Camorra mafia and not move in time to enforce payment of the lace on most of the activities related to "saint now"?
After all, knowing the mentality of the employees of these brotherhoods praiseworthy, is not excluded that even its Capetti, men of honor and not quaquaraquĆ  are ready to celebrate, as a token of thanks, a mass in name of the new blessed.
